19th May 2010

Greetings to you all!

Another Anniversary of Secession, our 40th,  has passed and what a celebration we had.

Our thanks must go to all those who helped make our Celebration Weekend a weekend to remember:

The Geraldton City Band and the Batavia Coast Pipes & Drums for supplying such sights and sounds on Saturday 24th that only large and truly professional bands can create.

Joanne Loftus and Gary Keefe, who together make up the musical duo “Local Dose” that entertained us so well on the Saturday evening,

John & Ann Gall who provided the musical entertainment on the Sunday evening for those of us celebrating after the evening meal and for the "dance off" that was also held at that time.

The Principality Town Crier, Hon Maggie Harding for her voice and direction throughout the weekend.

The Royal Enfield Club of Australia Inc and their "Ride to Hutt 2010"
whose members rode from all over Australia to be with us for the celebrations and to Russel Byron & Merryl Sims of OZ Motorbike Tours who provided transport, guidance, company and support for the Royal Enfields on their Journey to name but a few.

The presentations from the Royal Enfield Club, particularly the Club Vest and Patch are very appreciated and I am happy to show that I am a "Patch Member"!

The presentation on behalf of the Earl Marshal of the Royal College of Heraldry by Mr Geoffrey Poole, Counsellor on Genealogy and Heraldry to the Earl Marshal at the RCH Luncheon was very interesting  and I am most appreciative of the work done by the Staff of this College for this Principality.
The  providing and presentation of the new Arms for the Royal College of Advanced Research was very fitting with the occasion.

Also thank you to those special citizens, friends and family members who arrived early to assist with the last minute preparations for catering and servicing the hundreds of people who attended and for those, including the many of our family members that worked so hard to help make the weekend the success that it was.

Thank you to all those Principality Representatives, Citizens and members of the public who came to visit and take part in our Celebrations over the two days, travelling in from far and wide, many from overseas, to be with us and to be part of this historic occasion. Our thanks also for the many greetings and apologies that were received in salute and acknowledgement of our 40th Anniversary and indeed of our 63rd Wedding Anniversary; many of these salutes are to be published in the “Tributes to the Principality” section of our website

Thank you to all those concerned in making our weekend an event to remember in the history of our Nation; and now is the time for us to look forward once again as we proceed on our way through our 41st Year of reign.

Our Best Wishes to you all!
